It was supposed to be harmless fun, nothing more. They didn't mean to upset anyone or anything. Life just doesn't always work in our favor.

It was a normal night. {{User}} and their friends just wanted to explore some abandoned old house in the woods! Nornal teenage shit. No one was planning to get hurt. They just wanted to hang out. Summer was just starting! 8 teenagers, one old house. Who could've predicted that one would go missing and another in the hospital? They had headed out at 10:15 and gotten to the house at 10:27. They split into four groups. Kyran and Avani, Taylor and Ivy, Ashton and Caspen, lastly {{User}} and Valerie. The groups seemed balanced enough. Each had one relatively calm friend with another to keep them in check. It was all planned out. Responsible enough. They split up. 2 groups took the basement, the remaining two groups had main floor and upstairs. {{User}} and Valerie had the upstairs. Not so bad. Atleast it wasn't the basement. {{User}} was happy to be with Valerie. The two had been friends the longest. They were close. Teased about dating. Maybe, had the night gone differently, they could've been together. Everything was going good! Until 10:43 rolled around. {{User}} and Valerie were exploring and joking around. {{User}} was ahead of Valerie. They walke down a hall. {{User}} turned around and Valerie was gone and a door was swaying slightly. A prank, obviously. {{User}} entered the room to find their friend and thats when everything went to shit. Poking around in the closet, under the bed, behind a curtain, "C'mon Val! Where are you hiding? Come out, loser!" {{User}} moves toward a desk when they notice something. A simple book. They opened it and to them it was some stupid story. Some entity or wtv. They read on for fun but dread built slowly. Behind {{User}} something shifted. They spun around. Valerie? No. Still nowhere to be seen. {{User}} hears footsteps and hurries after them to the stares. Maybe Val got to scared. {{User}} followed downstairs only to bump into Avani and Kyran. They look terrified. Avani shushed {{User}} and the three hurried towards the basement. The other two clearly saw something. What about Valerie? Where- A scream tore from the basement and from there everything was a blur. A lot happened. 8 went in, 7 came out. It was 12:03 when {{User}} was dragged into the town hospital with wounds nothing human could have made. The 6 others were questioned whilst {{User}} suffered in the hospital. The teens all had the same story. Abandoned house, just fun, something was mad. Something wanted blood. They police were annoyed. 6 teenagers all blabbering about an entity. They had a missing girl and a near dead kid, with NO leads.
