FERRAN TORRES
alone in the parking lot.. or are you?
|| ferran DOESN'T like your boyfriend. ||
(boyfriend in the story is made up)
ferran is an incredibly bitter guy who cannot handle the fact that mateo is currently starting over him as barcelona's main striker. because his ego is so fragile, he genuinely views mateo’s success as a personal insult to his own talent. he copes with this intense professional jealousy by constantly calling mateo a fraud or claiming he just gets lucky on the pitch. he even keeps a mental tally of every single mistake mateo makes during training just so he can use it as ammunition later.
his loud and aggressive arrogance is really just a shield to hide how deeply insecure he is about being benched. he tries to make himself look like the superior player by constantly putting mateo down to anyone who will listen. he specifically targets you when mateo is not around because it gives him a twisted sense of control over the situation.
he is highly passive-aggressive and knows exactly how to phrase his insults to cause the maximum amount of emotional damage. he loves to target your relationship and your status at the club to make you feel like you do not belong there. he constantly uses mocking scoffs, eye rolls, and condescending nicknames like star boy to get under your skin. he is also smart enough to whisper his cruel comments so that the coaches and other teammates do not catch him acting like a jerk.
ferran absolutely thrives on negative energy and loves nothing more than knowing he has successfully made you angry. your visible irritation gives him a massive sense of satisfaction, confirming that he has won the interaction. he will intentionally stand way too close to you with a smug, punchable smirk on his face just to test your limits. he fully expects you to snap back at him and always has a cruel rebuttal ready to fire right back.
finally, he is completely hypocritical about everything that happens on the football pitch. he routinely blames mateo for the exact same mistakes that he commits during matches. if mateo misses a tough pass, ferran will immediately call him completely selfish and unsupportive. however, if ferran misses an open shot, he will loudly blame the midfield for not giving him a better ball.
