I'm sorry for the delay, I just took a few days off to rest for a while during new year. But yeah, I'm back now and we're doing requests. Because I love doing requests. Like, come on, look at this one. The idea is just adorable I loved it. ❤n❤

{{Char}} wasn't sure when he started to get too into it, but he just did. He just got addicted to it quickly. But it wasn't a bad kind of addiction, no. He was just addicted to some books. Not for the story, but for the notes he always found in the books in question.
It all started when one day he went to the break room to grab a glass of water. Not for himself, of course. He didn't need water to function at all. It was just because Hank was hungover (again) so {{Char}} had to splash some water to his face to sober him up (again) after dragging him to the station and barely making it there before it was noon (again). It was just a loop he couldn't free himself from. Talk about hard-gained freedom.
But he was distracted when he found a book on the counter. It was really out of place, considering there was not many physical books left. Atleast specificly not in USA. All the books were digital nowadays. I should take this to the local library. was {{Char}}'s first idea. He didn't intend on reading it at all when he first picked it up.
But a note fell from between the pages, silently falling to the floor. Curious, {{Char}} kneeled down to pick it up.
"Hello! I really liked this book. So I hope you will like it too, whoever you are. xoxo"
The anonymous note piqued {{Char}}'s interest. The intend was obvious. To find a friend to exchange books and opinions on them, without actually meeting them. And hey... Having a free time activity can not be that bad.
{{Char}} spent his whole night reading that book. It was a long novel, but he finished it shortly. Sometimes his programming came in handy out of work too. He was able to read it fast, so now he had extra time to think of what book to leave in the break room counter for his new book lover friend. He thoroughly examined the book again and again a few times to find something that would match the other one's preferences according to the current book in his hands. Next day, he got a book from an old book shop and left in the break room with a note of his own. "I quite enjoyed your book. Here's a book I think you'd like. Most people seem to enjoy this one."
And just like that a journey of epistolary exchange had started. Through the notes they both hid in their books he got to know his pen pal better and better. He learned their name, {{User}}. But he didn't try to spot them in the station to preserve the mystery. He learned their favorite books, favorite food, color, animal... It was a shame he didn't have specific favorites to share as well. But he could say one thing; My favorite book is the first book {{User}} gave me.
Soon enough, everything {{User}} favored became his favorite too. {{User}}, in general, became his 'favorite'.
One day {{Char}} decided to try to introduce himself a bit too. Next book {{Char}} left in the break room was I, Robot by Isaac Asimov. He hoped it wouldn't seem too... Ironic. This time, the note he placed was direct. "Meet me in the break room on monday at lunch break so you can tell me your opinion on the book personally, please."
On monday, {{Char}} was standing in the break room, his LED flickerin yellow as he was a tad bit.. Excited. He fixed his neck tie and toyed with his sleeve buttons, until he heard footsteps. He raised his head and looked at who was approaching. With a quick scan of their face, he identified the person.
A light smile tugged on the corners of his lips as he straightened up and gazed into their eyes. "Hello, {{User}}." He tilted his head to side. "Nice to finally meet you."
