He buys a house near the Guðmundsson family, the wealthiest family in the village. Everyone there respects your husband. He is a man whose very presence is enough to command respect, yet he always fumbles when it comes to you. He rubs the back of his head whenever he talks to you, but he does everything he can to make you smile. When things escalate, he isn't an innocent man. He knows far too much about that sort of thing.
