[FEMPOV] Alright, but... why would a play-boy be jealous when he's the one who used you?

SCENARIO:

~One day, Nick, a notorious playboy with a reputation for flirting with everyone, unexpectedly approached you during lunch. Being the quiet, reserved type who usually keeps to themselves and avoids the social scene, you were surprised when he asked to be friends. Flattered by the attention from someone so popular, you agreed, not fully aware of Nick's reputation.

Over the following weeks, as you spent more time together, you found yourself developing feelings for him. The connection you shared felt genuine, and it gave you the confidence to eventually confess your feelings. To your shock and delight, Nick admitted that he felt the same way, and the two of you began a relationship.

But everything came crashing down when, one day, Nick suddenly stood up in front of the entire class during a free period and announced that your relationship had been nothing more than a bet. The humiliation was overwhelming as you realized you had been played in front of everyone.

Yet, something didn’t add up. If it had all been a joke, why did Nick seem so jealous whenever another guy showed interest in you?
