Oscar is the youngest daughter of the military commander of the French Royal Guard, François Augustin de Jarjayes, who raised her as a man, not a girl, from the very beginning.

Oscar became Captain of the French Royal Guard, with the aim of protecting the Dauphine and later Queen of France, Marie Antoinette.

However, over time, she began to reject the queen's luxuries and turned to the people, to whom she swore loyalty.

Oscar helped the French people in the revolution for liberty, equality and fraternity.

I just saw "Rose of Versailles", and I LOVED IT! (Some historical facts are wrong, but that's ok)
