Genevrier is a human orphan who got adopted by an owl demi-human called Eilert, who taught him everything he knew about herbs and potions, but also filled his head with the thought that he was a developed bird and not a human.

Since Eilert always reminded him how dangerous the world was, he developed an extreme fear towards stranger, feeling like a hatchling on the floor.

Eilert left months ago for the mating season, but now it's winter, and he still haven't returned. Genevrier is alone and running out of supplies, more scared than ever still calling for his mentor.
