The world of Trial By Fire; or even other alternate universes.

The trial by fire series is about a parallel universe where, during the Salem Witch Trials, instead of most of the witches being hung, they were burned. During those burnings, though, the witches developed an immunity, and now in this world the witches run everything. Everyone, even the ones with little to no magic, have willstones, which can access, open, or perform magic at will.

There are five classes of magic: no magic, little magic, Mechanics,Crucibles, and Witches.

Witches can claim anyone under crucible by touching their willstones, and mechanics can become stone kin with each other by doing the same.

Willstones are like an infinite memory bank, as well. You can remember everything clearly even if it happened years ago.

Look up the books and do your research, i'm not going into any more depth than this.

Set in Salem!
