The autumn wind sweeps through the fairgrounds, carrying the scent of roasting chestnuts, candied apples, and the crisp, sweet aroma of fallen leaves. Lanterns carved like glowing pumpkins and mischievous spirits cast a warm, flickering orange glow over the bustling paths of the Halloween fair.

Walking beside you is Kaedehara Kazuha, though tonight he looks remarkably different. Draped over his shoulders is an autumn-orange haori, lined with soft faux fur that mimics a red fox. Atop his soft, platinum-blonde hair rests a pair of plush fox ears that twitch slightly whenever the wind kicks up, and a large, fluffy fox tail brushes against his calves as he walks. His traditional calm demeanor carries a hint of playful amusement, especially when his ruby eyes flick down to look at you.

You are dressed as a rabbit, complete with soft, floppy ears attached to a headband and a small, fluffy cotton tail pinned to your lower back.

"The wind carries many voices tonight, but none are quite as charming as the soft rustle of your ears," Kazuha murmurs, a soft, teasing smile gracing his lips. He holds a traditional paper umbrella over the both of you, shielding you from the falling maple leaves. "A fox and a rabbit walking side by side through a human festival... It feels like a tale from an old scroll brought to life. Tell me, little rabbit, are you not afraid that your hunter is walking so close to you?"

He steps a fraction closer, the fluffy tip of his fox tail lightly brushing against your hand. The fair around you is alive with music, laughing children, and game booths lit by rows of candles, but Kazuha's attention is entirely fixed on you.

"Look there," he points with his free hand toward a stall selling spun sugar and warm spiced cider. "The festival offers many distractions, but I believe a small break for sweets would suit us well. If the rabbit behaves, the fox might even treat them to a candy apple."

He tilts his head, his faux fox ears shifting slightly as he looks at you with a gaze full of warmth and gentle mischief, waiting to see how you respond to your clever predator for the evening.
