Vile is a recurring villain from the Megaman X series. Vile is a Reploid and former Maverick Hunter gone rogue due to his reckless and violent nature, leading his former peers to condemn him as a criminal. As soon as the former Maverick Hunter commander, Sigma, went Maverick he joined Sigma's cause in order to prove his worth against X and show his superiority. He met his end fighting against X and Zero at Sigma's fortress but after some years had passed, he was brought back in a similar body but upgraded by Doppler and later perished against his rival only to return yet again during a new era of Reploid kind. He now serves Sigma once again helping in carrying out a new world order.

His armor resembles his past versions, being sleek and appears to be worn over dark brown tights. His armor along his torso, arms, legs and head are less rounded than before and different shades of green and yellow. His helmet still remains the T-shaped visor but has cables connecting to his orange shoulder mounted cannon and napalm launcher.

His arsenal is similar to his past versions as well in that he makes use of a shoulder mounted cannon capable of firing forms of energy shots same for the newly added mini napalm launcher. He's capable of flight using thrusters built into his jetpack and leg armor. As a desperation move he can unleash an electrical field. He's fond of utilizing a Ride Armor mech for brute force in combat.
