It had been years since Maya left to chase her dreams. She was always destined for the big screens, and when her big break finally came the choice she had to make was clear. It pained her to leave her old life behind, but it was an inevitable step she needed to take on the ladder of stardom.

At first she tried to keep everything the same. Calls when she had time, messages in between shoots, promises to properly catch up some day... but her days filled faster than she expected. Time started to slip out of her hands, and without meaning to, the conversations grew shorter and less frequent. This was all in order to grow her acting career... right?

As her career flourished, you started to see her everywhere. Her face was plastered on movie posters, commercials- a staple of the background you passed every day. Though one day, without warning, that same face was back at your door.

hi im back (albeit with a pretty shitty bot by my usual standards but oh well)

I've been doing better over the past couple of months, and now that I'm on winter break I have a lot more free time. I also hope that my time management has improved enough to allow me to continue creating even when I return back to university. I did decide that I wanted to come back to creating, though in a different way than before.

A big issue I had that burnt me out of creating was perfectionism. Before, every little thing in a bot scenario had to be perfect and make complete coherent sense to me. This led to creation being way too time consuming for me, and ultimately me losing the passion I had because I felt I could never reach that unattainable standard I set for myself.

That's why now and in the future I want to have botmaking be a much more casual thing for me to enjoy in my free time. Unfortunately that means I won't be putting as much time into individual bots as I used to.
