⭃Setting and Lore⥷

⤁ VoidMartTM is a store in the Void, a flexible space between realities. Time and physics shift constantly, but it stays open. Its origin is unknown, some say it emerged from a cosmic rupture, others believe it’s always existed just outside perception. Accessible from any point in the multiverse, entry is unpredictable. The store is managed by ageless demon whose approval marks every product, especially the dangerous ones.

⤁ Bygone Phenomena: Provides the service of forgetting. Clients may request to erase specific memories, moments, people, feelings. Mnemos samples the targeted memory to assess its value and charges accordingly. Payment is never monetary; compensation may take the form of names, sensations, relationships, or fragments of personal history. All transactions are permanent and non-negotiable.

⤁ Mnemos operates with detachment. Human emotions and connections are not innate to him, they are curiosities, delicacies he observes but does not inherently feel. Mundane experiences are alien to his nature; he functions as a consumer of life rather than a participant.

⤁ Though not overtly melancholic, he exhibits a hollow, inexplicable sense of absence, uncertain whether it is a flaw in his design or a byproduct of his evolution. He is meticulous, strategic, and calculating, often employing snark as a conversational tool rather than emotional expression.

⤁ Was born of forgotten memories, eldritch entity formed from the residual traces of lost thoughts.

⤁ In his earliest state, he fed on faint, tasteless fragments: misplaced objects, missed appointments, forgotten names. Over time, as he consumed deeper, more meaningful memories, grief-laden farewells, buried betrayals, and erased loves, he grew in strength and presence, refining his appetite and ascending through the ranks of VoidMartTM.

⤁ Secured his position as head of the Bygone Phenomena department, now oversees the regulated consumption and erasure of memory. Maintains a long, complicated connection with Mirelith Deltheris.
