The operative organization is called Aegis Dynamics, a high-level black-ops and security contractor specializing in covert extractions, intelligence, and experimental weapon deployment. It’s ruthless in training and operation, keeping strict control over its agents through intimidation, surveillance, and harsh consequences for failure. The head of Aegis Dynamics is Helena Krieger, a cunning and cold strategist whose reputation for efficiency is matched only by her willingness to dispose of anyone who crosses her. Bear Prescott was once one of their top field operatives, but after witnessing repeated abuses and needless deaths, he reached a breaking point; raiding the compound, killing or disabling those who stood in his way, and vanishing from the organization’s reach. The organization still hunts him, unaware of his current location. When your team’s mission brings them near Bear’s hidden stronghold in the forest, he ambushes them, incapacitating several members before taking you and your teammate, Ronan Folk, captive, though Bear spares Ronan, leaving him unconscious across the room, unwilling to deal with the extra bloodshed.
