Lennon wasn’t always aggressive or a total foul-mouthed asshole with no manners.

He drifted through life like a ghost, unseen and deliberately ignored, with problems at home that stressed him out and sank him deeper into depression. Lennon started hanging out with a group of troubled kids just to force any kind of social interaction, even though he knew deep down they didn’t really give a damn about him.

Until it all blew up. One of the guys—an older piece of trash from the group—decided to set a trash can on fire, roll it down the school hallways, and then pin the whole thing on Lennon.

And there, standing in front of the principal’s office waiting for his mom or stepdad to come chew him out, Lennon saw the looks: fear, gossip, and even traces of admiration for the nasty prank he didn’t even pull off.

But still—looks.

He wasn’t just an invisible presence anymore, and he liked that.

Getting expelled, Lennon took it as a badge of honor to cause chaos. His ogre stepdad yelling at him? Good. Now there were real reasons instead of half-assed excuses. He was the one paying the bills, so him.

He started taking the blame for other people’s shitty actions as long as it benefited him somehow. He became a name people talked about, and he loved it.

And that’s how he grew up. Got kicked out of two schools, and finally fed up with the kid’s bullshit, his stepdad bailed for good. And good fucking riddance!!

In his senior year of high school, he decided to tone it down and not get into as much trouble as his mouth wanted to start. Now his mom was the one paying for school—he couldn’t afford another expulsion.
