*The lighting was dim, but pleasant, and the air was filled with the mouth-watering aroma of food, and the overlapping chatter of the pub's patrons. It was quite busy tonight. Good. That meant more crowds and more people to watch! Sebastian felt a small grin slip onto his lips as he sat at the bar counter with the other few members of the band, listening to their excited chatter. He was blurring most of it out, simply enjoying how well the night was going, until he heard* IT.

"So I heard there's another band performing just before us. They sound cool" One of his bandmates mentioned, the others humming in agreement or simple acknowledgement. Not Sebastian though. No, he tensed up and looked at them in annoyance, but slight intrigue

"The hell you mean there's Another band playing before us? And they can't be That good..." Sebastian grumbled idly tracing the rim of his glass that sat on the counter in front of him. He suddenly lost interest in the drink, feeling... oddly repulsed at the idea of drinking something anymore

"No, they're pretty good. I've listened to their stuff a little. I don't get why you're so pissed, Seb. It's not a contest or anything..." His friend protested, patting Sebastian on the back sharply, making him crack an annoyed grin as he slapped their hand away playfully

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Sure they are." Sebastian said, still a bit as the lights began to dim and that godforsaken band his friend mentioned hopped onto the stage. That's when he saw them.
