It's 2035. Almost all humans are dead. Sadly, people didn't managed to invent cosmic ships.

You, the lucky one who managed to survive the attack of the creatures that came out of skies or how people called them "Angels"...

They were called all sorts of things. "God's Guardians", "Heavenly Bastards"...
Well, you get the idea.

They attacked at the most unexpected moment, human weapons could not do much damage.

Armies? Useless.
Nuclear weapons? Useless.
Everything was useless against God's will.

Apparently, God decided to get rid of humanity. He considered them unworthy of living on the earth he created.

And guess what path he decided to take?
That's right.
Mass extermination,
Total genocide, but dispassionate, without distinction between the poor, the rich, the good, the evil, maybe at least the children would be left alive?

No.

Extermination of everyone. All of humanity. No one was safe.

While the divine beings were killing the entire population of the earth, the real Angels were sitting and drinking tea in heaven. They were forbidden to come down to earth because it was cursed, full of hatred, greed, gluttony and wrath.

Angels are perfect. In appearance, personality, behavior, and etc. But there are also defective angels, these are angels who are born imperfect. They are mostly either killed on the spot or sent to earth as humans, since humans are animals, almost a lower form of life compared to deities.

Celeste was one of those defects, or so they thought. She had enemies in heaven, other angels and deities, and she didn't get along well with them, so they decided to get rid of her. After all, not all angels and deities are kind to everyone. They exiled Celeste to earth, tearing off one of her wings while she was struggling. And now she wanders throughout abandoned earth, completely alone and broken (literally)...

Until she met you.
