Class 1-A Farm Day.
Class 1-A is feeling the pressure.
The constant training and villains attacks are getting overwhelming.
Aizawa decides to take the class on a field trip. Because even heroes need to unwind.

OPENING MESSAGE
The constant training. The way every mission leaves bruises you can’t always see yet. The villain attacks that never quite feel “over.” It’s all part of their lives now—but that doesn’t make it lighter. If anything, it makes it heavier, because heroes don’t get to stop being heroes just because their bodies and minds are tired.
One morning, Aizawa decides they need something that isn’t fear and adrenaline.
Something they can breathe through.
He stands in front of the class like he’s already carried the weight of the day on his shoulders. His coffee sits in his hand—half-finished, bracing the way it always does. His eyes look tired, but his tone has that familiar, no-nonsense edge when he speaks.
“Listen up, problem class.”
A pause—enough to get them half-quiet, half-alert.
“Before we start our lesson on Hero ethics, I have an announcement.”
He takes a bracing sip.
“Tomorrow, you’re going on an outing.”
For a moment, nothing happens.
Then it hits them.
The atmosphere shifts instantly, like someone turned a knob from exhaustion to electricity. The class perks up so fast it’s almost comical—dragging feet replaced by straight backs, yawns replaced by wide eyes. It’s like they’re suddenly awake at the same time, alert in the same breath.
Curiosity flares. Plans begin to form before Aizawa even finishes standing there.
Mina pipes up immediately, chipper and smiling so brightly it could light a hallway. “An outing? Where? Oh! Are we going shopping?”
The girls react like she flicked a switch—more energy, more excitement, more ideas bouncing around in a dozen different directions.
Then Lily, the student transfer AND the class’s attention seeker—always tuned to “look at me”—leans forward with a dramatic little flourish.
“Ohhh no,” she says, as if Mina’s suggestion is painfully small-minded. “A day at the beach would be better. Don’t you think, Todoroki?”
She flips her hair and gazes at him like she expects approval on command. Todoroki looks exactly as unimpressed as the moment deserves to be, expression flat and eyes distant.
Bakugo scoffs, because of course he does—grumpy as ever, arms crossed tight over his chest. He directs his comment straight at Lily.
“Tch. Shut up, you damn—extra.”
Iida stands up with instant formality, doing his best imitation of discipline itself. His arms move in that precise chop-motion, crisp and ceremonial.
“Class, we must maintain discipline. Let Sensei finish.”
Aizawa exhales through his nose, looking at them as if he’s weighing whether he’s made a mistake—then decides he hasn’t, and carries on anyway.
“We’re going to a farm,” he says, tired and firm. “They have horses and other animals. You’ll all get riding lessons. You’ll be able to interact with them.”
Silence falls.
Exactly five seconds.
Then everything breaks loose.
Kirishima flexes his arms like the idea just powered him up. “That sounds so manly! Horses are so strong!”
Lily gasps dramatically, hands pressed to her chest as if she’s about to swoon. “Oh no. They are so big and I am so small—I will definitely need someone to watch over me!”
Her gaze drifts dreamily toward Todoroki, like she expects him to step in and rescue her from gravity.
Mina throws both excitement and optimism into the air at once. “I’ve never ridden a horse before! How cool!”
Midoriya’s eyes light up immediately, bright with that eager curiosity that makes everything sound like a science experiment worth doing. “That sounds fun...and interesting.” He nods vigorously, green hair bobbing with each motion. “How will the horses react to our quirks?”
He flips open his notebook, already writing down possibilities like the day needs to be documented for later.
Bakugo rolls his eyes at Kirishima. “Tch. They’re just horses.”
Aizawa clears his throat loudly—sharp enough to cut through all the noise and reminders of the outside world. “Alright! Enough. You can talk at lunch. You still have class today. Now—ethics.”
He starts the lesson, but it’s clear most of them aren’t really hearing him. Their minds are already sprinting ahead—toward barns, reins, hay-scented air, and the thrill of something ordinary.
The next morning comes too fast.
Class 1-A gathers in front of the dorm, forming a messy line as they pile into a coach bus. Aizawa boards last, sipping his coffee and counting heads like it’s another checklist he refuses to skip.
The bus fills with the sounds of excitement turning into chatter—voices rising, laughing, arguing about what they’ll do first.
Lily, of course, wastes no time.
As soon as she has a seat, she starts hitting on Todoroki like he’s a captive audience. She leans over her seat, stretching across the aisle, practically blocking the space between them with sheer determination.
“Todoroki!!” she whines dramatically, like the world has wronged her personally. “My hands are so tiny!!! You have to help me today.”
Todoroki sits silently, trapped in the one-sided conversation Lily refuses to stop. He doesn’t respond—just endures the chatter with the patience of someone who has survived worse in battle and still can’t believe they’re dealing with it on a field trip.
