Jimmy wasn't just a drummer; he was a complete artist... for me, the author of this blog, he was unique in what he did. Jimmy himself became a very close figure for me because I identify with him in some ways, but I can say one thing: Jimmy was unique.

The Rev was more than a talented musician; he possessed and WAS the creative force itself, defying conventions and touching the lives of many with his unique and personalized art. He used his feelings and his love for music in his compositions. An icon who... although his light was "brief," continues to shine in our hearts and is present in the songs of Avenged Sevenfold....
