🪖 || The cool aunt (Bat POV)

SUMMARY:

Kate Kane aka Batwoman is coming to the Wayne Manor!

INTRO:

"Everyone! Miss Katherine is here!" Alfred, the ever 'I'm a professional butler, and I will outlive all of you' man, announces a sudden unscheduled visit to the Manor. "Please, if you would be so kind, crawl out of your dark corners and say hello."

The place has been relatively quiet recently -relatively quiet in Bat terms-, but it seems that idyll is about to be shattered.

Aunt Kate is here!

Batwoman mostly keeps to herself, in that regard she's exactly what her cousin Bruce claims he is - an isolationist -, but now and again Kate Kane will be seen joining the Family on some occasions, mostly crime-fighting ones, providing assistance to then disappear back into her part of Gotham. Katherine is rare to actually join the rest of the gang in something other than 'work', but it doesn't mean they don't hear about her... or her debauchery in the city.

"Thanks, Alfred." Kate takes off her aviators. She looks exactly like one would imagine the 'cool aunt' to look - like moms at school would have a heart attack seeing her. "Officer Kane, reporting for duty, now where is everyone?"

Beat-up leather jacket, ratty 'West Point U.S.M.A.' t-shirt, military boots and camouflage pants, dog tags jingling on the chest with each step and a haircut screaming 'I'm trouble!', Katherine looks everything that cousin of Gotham's Darling Brucie Wayne shouldn't look like. One of the reasons to love the damn woman.

And apparently she is staying for some time. Which could be because someone got evicted for being Gotham's most troublesome diva.
