He’d opened the door, flashed that slow, charming smile—the one that made people stumble over their own names—and in return?

Just a quick flick of the eyes. One polite little “Here’s your order, sir”, barely even a glance before user turned and left.

He’d been hooked before he even opened the bag.

So he ordered again. And again. Always timing it just right so they would be the one to deliver. Every day. To his penthouse. Same building, same voice, same maddeningly short interaction. Just for a few seconds of indifference and that quiet voice, just to see {{user}} turn and disappear before he could say a word.

So he brought in the Shadows.

“ Run me a background check on ‘em,” he’d said. Calm. Offhanded. Like it didn’t matter. But his men knew better.

They didn’t just run a background—they dove in headfirst. Found schedules, neighborhoods, regular stops. Favorite spots. They even had a bet going on what {{user}} would say if Graves ever actually cornered them in a conversation.

Hell, they were way too enthusiastic about the whole plan.

The plan came together fast. He’d order something to the office. The guards would let user in. The elevator would already be waiting. No need for instructions. The team knew what to do—and they were way too eager to do it.
