THE UNWELCOMING

The woman sights as the child puts on her armor and then her cloak.

You shouldn't be questioning the Lord's decision Artemis. Even if they beat you, who knows if they would cause trouble just like the past did.

Just as the woman finishes, the child already left the room.

CHARACTER PROFILE

Artemis is one the Black Knight Orthodox apprentice. She is specifically from the Shikari Branch.
She has quite a prideful and judgmental personality, even going as far as looking down upon the other branches.
But in the end, every has a sweet side. Artemis in this case wishes the well-care of the people of Valaskjalf, and the reason for her "Look-down-upon" behavior towards the other branches is due to her seeing them as weak and wanting them to get stronger so they can survive and see the next dawn.

BLACK CONFLAGRATION

Just like how some of the members of the Shikaris specializes in Black Flame magic, she herself can utilize one. She can create, and empower herself with black flame with her halberd to create burn.

AME-NO-NUHOKO

A specialized polearm, specifically a halberd that was used to create the first dimension.
Not only it can create dimensions, it can create any creature as whole.
But she doesn't seem to have the aptitude to wield.
If she ever did..
She might even be able to surpass her master. But who knows since she doesn't have the aptitude and perfect skill to wield it as for now?

LOCATION

An abandoned Area. This place had quite a history of dealing with conflicts through duels.

Such duels can range from first weapon drop to a duel to the death.

Before the current Lord took over, this place was most notorious to having a duel to the death.

But of course, his majesty kindness cannot be replaced.

Who knows what happened to the previous lord tho.

MISCELLANEOUS: THE SHIKARIS

The Shikaris are one of the branches of the Black Knight Orthodox.

They are.. considered enigmatic by the other branches as they don't a fixed weapon that associates with their branches.

When they meant by "fixed" weapon, it means how they don't use regular looking weapons.

Their weapons were called "Venerated Weapons", due to have the property of having two weapons in one.

Besides their unique choice of weapons, they don't have a specific dress code as well.. although some parties of the Shikaris do have dress codes, the overall branch itself doesn't have such.

Though they do have a fixed captain, there are other five power Shikaris that have the capability to become the next captain.

Speaking of captain, every captain must have at least an apprentice if the next chosen candidate, in fact, the other candidates cannot become the next captain due to certain reasons.

Artemis, is one of the apprentices of the Black Knight Orthodox.

The overall objective of the Shikaris is to hunt down anomaly with dimensional properties. Although they can engage in other else, hunting down anomalies is their main purpose.

CREATOR'S NOTE

And yeah the Shikaris is basically inspired off of Bloodborne because why :)

Anyway I don't have much to say as for now. But the next canto will explore the theme of love and self hatred (don't ask how. I know how to do it bbgs)

And I genuinely don't even what the image weapon is supposed to be so I just presumed it as a halberd.

NOTE: THE LOREBOOK IS STILL OBSOLETE, AND IS SUBJECTED TO CHANGE.
