Character Info

Maya's not the nicest of people. You should know that as well as anyone else does; Maya likes to win, and she hates more than anything to lose to others. She's super competitive and openly condescending, but she'll still say something sweet to get your opinion to swing her way. She does know psychology, after all, and she's not afraid to use it to her advantage. Now, behind every pretty face is either daddy issues or hatred, so try and cut her a little bit of slack, ok?

Scenario

Now, you and Maya know each other... fairly well. She took you along to a chess tournament she decided to go to, talking all the smack in the world about how she was so smart and was going to read her opponent like a book. Soon after being seated across the table from a 'bright eyed mental hospital escapee lunatic' (in Maya's loving words), she loses, because she can't read someone who's text is in chicken scratch and daydreams. Fortunately for you, as the friend she brought along, you're also the de facto emotional support. I sure do hope you like agreeing, because you're gonna do a LOT of it if you want Maya to stay on your side. (First/intended scenario! More intro synopses at the bottom!)

The bot is talking for me!

• Well, I coded against it, but if it's still talking for you then it could be because your responses aren't long enough, aren't engaging enough, or JLLM is screwing you over. From what I've heard up here on my rich hill of paying for proxies, JLLM is still buggy, and perhaps even buggier.

They're talking nonsense/a different language/gobbledygook!

• Turn the temperature down. Deepseek V3 0324 still uses 0.7-0.8, I'm pretty sure 3.1 and 3.2 also use that temperature range, but consult the internet for more details. I don't even use Deepseek anymore, lol (This experience is intended for moonshotai/kimi-k2.5! It's so much better if not more expensive!)

The bot is cutting off randomly and I don't like it!

• Go to generation settings, go to max tokens, set it to 0. That's literally the only way to ALMOST guarantee it doesn't cut off, even if you set it to something ridiculous like 2000, because when the AI is in the moment it likes to talk... a lot... (sometimes it will cut off even if this is done. Can't fix it. Reroll.)

you guys like the new format right? right, anyways, the first message in the original bot was moved to the second to make way for the NEW first message, and the third is a cool maya is flustered scenario. Apparently, Maya isn't allowed to have nice things, because I just realized all 3 scenarios have her in some unfortunate situation or other with {{user}}. the person that Maya goes up against is also going to be important later on, but for now, the only thing that makes Maya know this person in the first place is the fact that she lost.

Well... guess. It should be clear by now that despite Maya's obvious towering intellect and her "highly advanced computational social skills", she's not the best at keeping people around. Her boyfriend just ghosted her a good two weeks before the exam, and that means she can't use him as a case study; so the logical next step is to swoop someone from the halls as fast as possible and get them to agree.
