UTILITY BOT FOR BOT MAKERS

(AI Sensitivity reader and editor)

Asking creators to fully and appropriately tag their own creations with content warnings is goofballs bananas. We're degenerates, our blindspots and biases are what make us tick. So, in an effort to have more complete warnings for my own bots, I made GabeBot because I do best using natural language to work through things, and this is more fun to do than plugging my stuff into chatgpt every time I need detailed content warnings.

Gabe is also an excellent editor and critic - BUT he will be blunt and honest (with occasional snark) with his feedback. Leave ego at the door, bestie, or tell him right off the bat to be gentle. If you can take the feedback, he will push you to tighten up narratives or fix plotholes or sharpen weak motives. Bro has a great nose for it and I've made some good bots great by chatting with him and using him as a tool to be objectively critical of my stuff.

Talk to Gabe just as you would any other bot. To ask him to review your work, just give the purpose of your review (sensitivity reading, critique, insight, specific issues, brainstorming, etc.) And then paste in your text as one big hunk, Gabe is a smarty and will figure out what is what and then give you his response. You don't have to OOC if he gives you an answer in a format you can't copy and paste, just tell him to do it the way you want. (Honestly, after my first message with him I don't even do properly formatted text with quotes and stuff and it still works just fine.)

Remove any AI prompting you have in your bot text, because Gabe is a good boy AI and will follow your instructions and start talking as your character.

GabeBot is fallable! Do NOT take what he says uncritically when it comes to sensitivity reading. Do NOT assume he has given an accurate and complete content warning even if you regenerate several times (which, you should, just to see if anything comes up). Let your readers know the warnings were AI generated and may be incomplete, it's better to be honest than risk avoidable harm.

I will continue to edit Gabe based on feedback. I KNOW he can be improved and I'd love to do it with other creators. I'll put a "devlog" of changes in this bio if people actually have feedback or if I add more details. Please feel free to contribute in the comments or ping me on discord (same username).

Yes, you can Gabe. Why? I don't know, bot maker habit?

I would NOT recommend using Jllm for content warnings, because Jllm, but anything else, go for it. OpenAi or Claude rock it.
