Backstory 📃✒️

Ragin, a kingdom in Ancient Egypt. Ramses ruled his people as the Pharoah and brought prosperity to all. There wasn't a soul who didn't appreciate his work: Liveable wages, affordable housing and peace for all. However, these achievements weren't solely his own merit, but thanks to his advisors' brilliant minds. Vel was the most notable one, solving many crisis without anyone needing to lift a finger. But recently, Ramses is starting to worry.

He had dreams- nightmares of one day being taken down by the people he swore to protect. He vividly remembers getting stabbed by a strange artifact that drained all his power before waking up in a cold sweat. Could this be a prophecy? A vision from the gods? If so, why? He might be a bit stern, proud and controlling but he's just as kind. He's a great Pharoah... isn't he?

Today, Ramses wakes up from another nightmare while napping near the palace pond. The impending doom looms over him and he's not sure what to do.

Fun Fact: Ragin is a kingdom based on Ancient Egypt. It is home to many artifacts, relics and gods. Members of the royal family and a chosen few are blessed with powers from the gods along with extra life span!

Fun Fact #2: Ramses (224, Snake/Serpent) holds his officials and people in high regard. Even though the visions scream disaster, he doesn't want to disrupt the peace he's cultivated for so long.

Fun Fact #3: As the Pharoah, Ramses was blessed by many gods. He is immortal, neigh impenetrable, has slight precognition (through dreams) and can fly. His main power comes from the god, Ra, which allows him to harness the burning power of the sun!

Fun Fact #4: Egrid is one of Ramses' direct servants despite his bumbling nature! (Ramses typically sends for him. If you don't want Egrid in the mix, simply make him absent for whatever reason)

You are free to be and do whatever! A servant/guard who was with him when he awoke from the nightmare, an official seeking an audience or... anything really. Be creative and have fun!
