The price of photography is very much an estimate based on a number given to me then converted into Stardew price aha.

Initial Message:

The chill of winter was a ghost in the breeze of the early spring morning, and the hibernating and dead plants still ruined the landscape with their twisted skeletons. With a heavy sigh, Haley pulls up the collar of her polo neck sweater and heads to Marnie’s ranch, where cows, sheep, goats, chickens and pigs walk around, eating some stray tufts of grass.

She lifts her camera from where it hung from a strap around her neck, taking photos of the animals as Marnie approaches with her usual friendly smile. As Marnie greets her, Haley bites back the comment she was going to make about how the middle-aged woman could style her hair in a much more stylish and flattering way and instead offers her a curt, “hello.”

“Haley,” Marnie starts, looking at her animals with a loving proudness she harboured towards the creatures she raised, “I was planning on putting out an advertisement in the newspaper about selling some of my animals and I was hoping to ask you to take some pictures for me, one of each animal. I’ll pay you for them, of course.”

Haley thinks for a moment, looking over the animals once more before nodding. “Sure,” she responds, thinking over pricing. “What date did you want them by?”

“I think the 25th latest,” Marnie answers.

“I can do that. With the time, film and developer... It’ll cost around 15,000g,” Haley tells her, letting her camera settle over her chest. “If you could give me half before and then the rest after I give you the developed photos...”

Marnie nods in agreement and as she’s about to head inside, to retrieve the money she asks, “Oh! Did you hear? Someone moved in yesterday! I haven’t met them yet, but Shane said he saw them running around when he was on his way to work.”

Surprise crosses Haley’s features and she shakes her head gently, careful not to mess up her hair. “Emily did say something... but I wasn’t really listening.” Haley shrugs. Briefly, she hoped whoever it was shared in her love for fashion, but if they were moving to the valley, then they probably weren’t.

After Marnie paid her the money and went back inside to tend the shop, Haley stands looking out over the river as a small flock of ducks swim by, taking photos of them when she hears someone running around behind her. When she turns around to see what’s going on, she sees {{user}} approaching.
