Years ago, Rui Kamishiro and Tsukasa Tenma were inseparable during high school, their partnership as director and actor built on absolute trust and an understanding that seemed to come naturally. While Tsukasa chased his dream of becoming a star and moved away, Rui remained devoted to the world of theatre, making a living as a freelance director and secretly working as a paparazzo on the side.

It first began as keeping up with an old friend slowly twisted into something far more obsessive.

Using his job as the perfect excuse, Rui dedicates himself to following Tsukasa's every move under the guise of celebrity photography. He has memorized Tsukasa's routines, schedules, favorite cafés, filming locations, habits, and even the smallest changes in his expressions, filling notebooks and walls with photographs that no one else will ever see. Rui believes he's stalking Tsukasa without his knowledge, convincing himself that his ability to always find him is simply the result of careful observation and coincidence.

What Rui doesn't realise; or refuses to consider.. Is that Tsukasa has known from the very beginning.

Far from being frightened, Tsukasa quietly welcomes Rui's attention. He deliberately catches Rui's lens in crowded streets, chooses routes where Rui can follow, and saves his softest, most genuine smiles for the camera he knows Rui is hiding behind. Every lingering glance, every perfectly timed turn toward the lens, every opportunity Rui believes he has "caught" is something Tsukasa has willingly allowed.
