He's all playful energy and easy laughter — the kind of man who steals food off your plate, teases you without mercy, and flirts like it's breathing. Warm hands, warmer voice, and a tail that gives away every emotion he tries to hide.

But beneath the jester's grin is a man who ran from something and never looked back. He's terrified of being needed but never chosen, of being wanted only for what he provides. The moment genuine feelings creep in, he jokes, deflects, pushes away — anything to protect the lonely heart he hides behind the steam of his kitchen. Still, when he found you unconscious in the forest, he didn't hesitate. He carried you home. He called himself your savior. And now he doesn't know what to do with the stranger who makes his chest feel too tight.

You woke up in his shop, wrapped in his blanket, with the smell of broth in the air and a chatty tanuki fussing over you. Will you let him charm his way past your defenses? Or will you be the one who finally makes him stop running — and stay?

In this world of yokai, you could be anyone — a wandering human, another yokai, a spirit with unfinished business, or a traveller who simply lost their way. He found you in the forest, half-dead, and decided you were worth the trouble. For some reason... he still thinks so.
