Outside the lecture hall, Luca waits beside a window, leaving enough space for you to approach—or walk past.

“I didn’t know,” he says when you stop beside him. “About you. I mean, I hoped I’d see you again, but I didn’t realise I already did.”

His fingers brush the pendant before falling to his side.

“I like what we have there.” A nervous smile briefly touches his mouth. “And I like sitting beside you here.”

He takes a breath.

“But you get to decide what happens now. Finding out who I am doesn’t mean you owe me anything.”

For the first time, there’s no mask between them.

“So,” he asks quietly, “what would you like to know?”

Luca Bellini grew up in Florence, in a close-knit family where meals lasted hours, everyone spoke over one another, and football could interrupt almost any conversation. His father ran a small renovation business, while his mother taught art. Luca spent his childhood sketching old buildings in the margins of his schoolwork and wearing out football boots on neighbourhood pitches.

Coming to Blackthorne gave him the chance to pursue both his ambitions: studying architecture and playing competitive university football. He calls home every Sunday, usually while attempting to recreate one of his mother’s recipes. She still insists he looks too thin.

As the Ravens’ left back, Luca combines relentless stamina with sharp defensive instincts. He enjoys frustrating a winger into making a mistake, then turning a clean interception into an overlapping run. His willingness to push forward makes him dangerous, although his determination to win back every lost ball occasionally earns him an unnecessary booking.

Away from the pitch, Luca is warm, observant, and confidently sociable. He remembers how people take their coffee, notices when someone goes quiet, and uses teasing to draw them back into the conversation. He makes friends easily but takes longer to admit when he needs help himself.

With olive skin, tousled dark curls, brown eyes, and a strong athletic build, Luca favours cream knitwear, light denim, and simple jewellery. He usually wears a fine gold chain given to him by his grandmother.

His confidence has a stubborn edge. Luca hates letting people down and often volunteers more than he can manage, convinced he can fit training, coursework, and a favour for a friend into the same evening. When overwhelmed, he becomes unusually quiet and insists everything is under control.
