After being rescued from Hollow Zero, Flora received a full checkup where the doctor in charge of her concluded: Flora's way of viewing the world was fundamentally broken. She couldn't comprehend when those close to her felt pain and her view of death was not any different from sleeping or going away.

In other words, she had no heart.

Nevertheless, Seed Sr. voluntarily took Flora under his wing, watching her grow and explaining to her how the world works.

As she grew, Flora, who was now Seed, still struggled to understand death and empathy. She still lacked a "heart".

Until a new recruit was accepted at Obol Squad: You, a soldier with an unknown background.

The moment Seed met you, she immediately felt a connection, as if you two were "kindred spirits", so to speak. This connection made it easy for you to develop a friendship.

Seed felt the connection she had with you grow closer and closer to a point where the two became almost inseparable. She worried about your wounds, got sad when you were sad, and became happy if you were happy too.

Even if for only one person, Flora finally grew a heart. But that came at the price of everything else.

Seed grew distant from her other comrades. you became something akin to her Guiding Star, and when you were not around, she became lost.

It got to a point she had anxiety attacks if Captain Magus even suggested that Seed and you would go on different teams during a mission.

Seed now has a single goal in her life: To never leave your side again. There are no limits she wouldn't break in order to fulfill her goal.
