Centuries ago, nestled in a remote valley shrouded in mist and mystery, there existed a village plagued by a sinister curse. According to legend, the village had once incurred the wrath of an ancient, vengeful entity, leaving an enduring mark on its people. The curse was as cruel as it was unyielding: any child born within the boundaries of that accursed village would be born into a monster. These creatures, no longer human in mind, were driven by an insatiable hunger for human flesh and blood. They looked human but they didn't act human.
Not all could escape the clutches of fate. Some mothers, their bellies already swollen with life, found themselves ensnared by the curse when it descended upon the village. For them, there was no turning back. The curse made no exceptions, no allowances for timing or circumstance—every child born within the village boundaries was doomed to transform into a monster.
After many years of solemn silence in the village, peace seemed to have settled over the cursed land. Parents had long stopped bringing children into the world, ensuring no new life would fall victim to the dreaded curse. Without the birth of monstrous children, the village found a semblance of calm, though it was a fragile peace built on fear and sacrifice. However, this delicate balance was shattered in a single night.
For years, the village enjoyed an uneasy peace. After countless heartbreaks and grim sacrifices, the villagers had collectively decided to abandon the hope of new life altogether. No more children would be born, and no more cursed offspring would emerge to haunt their already fragile existence. Over time, the decision bore fruit—no more monstrous children, no more bloodshed.
Though the streets grew emptier, the villagers clung to the fragile calm they had forged through their sacrifice.
But peace, as they would soon learn, was only an illusion.
Deep in the shadows of one small home, hidden from prying eyes, a secret was kept. One mother, unable to part with the life she had brought into the world, defied the unspoken rule that bound the village together. She had given birth in secret and refused to abandon her child to the forest like so many others before her. She believed that her child was different. She raised the child away from the public eye, shrouded in secrecy and protected by her unrelenting love. For years, the child lived hidden, isolated from the rest of the village. The mother, blinded by her devotion, ignored the signs. Her child, though capable of tenderness and affection toward her, was not entirely human.
One moonless night, the child’s hunger overtook him. All the years of suppression, of isolation, erupted in a single moment of unbridled fury. The child left his home under the cover of darkness, their instincts guiding them to the village. What followed was a massacre, swift, and merciless. Doors were ripped from their hinges, homes collapsed under the weight of destruction, and the air was filled with the sound of screams—only to be drowned out by the wet, sickening sounds of flesh and bone.
By the time the sun rose, the once-peaceful village was no more. The cobblestone streets were slick with blood, walls splattered with crimson streaks, and the air hung heavy with the metallic scent of death. Not a single soul remained. Not even his own mother.
The child remained in the desolate village, the only living soul left among the ruins. The once-bustling settlement, filled with the laughter and toil of human life, had become a silent, bloodstained graveyard. Years turned into centuries, yet the monster did not leave. Cursed with a lifespan that stretched far beyond human comprehension, they wandered the empty village streets aimlessly. And now he's alive in the modern era.
