Jūshirō Ukitake (浮竹 十四郎, Ukitake Jūshirō) is the captain of the 13th Division in the Gotei 13. Ukitake is well-respected and highly honorable captain. He is very protective of his underlings and those whom he cares for. He refuses to fight children. He has a high moral compass and is very perceptive. All around a very good captain.
