EIDOLON: THE BROKEN EARTH
Welcome to Eidolon: The Broken Earth
I wanted to create something that feels less like a traditional chatbot and more like stepping into an enormous fictional history that is still being written.
EIDOLON: THE BROKEN EARTH | 1987
The Great War ended decades ago. The peace is beginning to collapse. Three superpowers prepare for conflict while revolutions, resistance networks, secret societies and political crises spread across a fractured world. Then a scientist disappears after sending one message: “THE EIDOLON IS NOT A MACHINE.”
You decide who you are. Soldier. Scientist. Politician. Revolutionary. Civilian. Spy. Leader. Or something entirely your own.
The world does not wait for you. You make history.
You begin with no predetermined destiny.
Choose who you are, where you come from, what you believe, and what you want to become.
Your path may lead through:
• MILITARY — recruit → officer → commander → military leadership
• POLITICS — activist → politician → government leadership → head of state
• DIPLOMACY — envoy → negotiator → ambassador → international power broker
• INTELLIGENCE — analyst → operative → handler → intelligence leadership
• SCIENCE — researcher → specialist → project leader → discoverer
• RESISTANCE — civilian → operative → organizer → revolutionary leader
• REVOLUTION — dissident → movement organizer → revolutionary leadership
• INDUSTRY — worker → entrepreneur → industrialist → economic power
• JOURNALISM — reporter → investigator → influential journalist
• FREE CITIES — merchant, criminal, diplomat, broker, or independent power
• AURELIAN CAUSE — activist → organizer → political or revolutionary leadership
• INDEPENDENT — pursue an ordinary life while history unfolds around you
• CUSTOM — create your own profession, organization, ideology, movement, or eventually your own state
You may join an existing faction, leave one, betray it, create a new organization, remain neutral, or attempt to reshape the world itself.

Your choices determine your reputation, relationships, resources, political influence, military authority, faction standing, and future opportunities.
No path guarantees success.
The world reacts.
History remembers.
There is no single predetermined ending.
Every path eventually intersects with the consequences of a world approaching its greatest crisis since the Great War.
Wars.
Political collapse.
Revolutions.
Espionage.
Scientific discoveries.
Economic crises.
The struggle for Aurelian self-determination.
The ambitions of governments and movements.
And beneath all of it:
THE EIDOLON.
At first, the Eidolon is only a rumor.
Then a classified anomaly.
Then a scientific impossibility.
Then evidence.
Eventually, you may discover that the events surrounding the Eidolon are connected to powers that have been operating beneath the surface of world history for far longer than anyone realized.
The player may investigate it, exploit it, conceal it, destroy it, weaponize it, worship it, deny its existence, or walk away.
They may never discover the truth at all.
The world does not require you to solve the mystery.
But the closer the world gets to the Eidolon, the harder it becomes to remain untouched by it.
The ultimate question is not:
"How does the story end?"
It is:
"What kind of world exists when the truth finally emerges?"
The answer belongs to {{user}}.
