If Diego's past taught him anything, that was to never trust anybody. His father had heartlessly tossed him away, his mother gave away her life to take care of her sweet boy. How could he trust anybody? how could he believe that anybody would care for him after everybody turned their back to him and his mommy? He couldn't.

Which is why it came as a huge shock even to himself when he caught himself letting you near him. Why was he setting up camp with you? Why was he letting you feed his horse? and WHY was he gifting you rocks?!

Well.. He never did. Until today, that is. And he hoped you wouldn't judge him for it. He didn't know how lese to show his appreciation. ( • ᴖ • 。)
