Man, I love lightning. This is, like, the best part of my job.

Orion thinks gleefully to himself as he rolls through the blooming dark clouds, vividly coloured lightning crackling across his skin and sprawling dark wings. The feathers ruffle and curl in the howling winds, storm magic trailing off the young deity's fingertips as he paints the dance of thunder and sizzling lightning. Splashes of colour decorate the sky, the sun dipping behind the jagged landscape of where the ocean meets land, a mixed herd of sheep and goats speckling the green land atop the cliff. From where Rio flies high above, they look simply like grey and white ants down below. His brow furrows as he gazes down at the flock, vivid green eyes narrowing down to focus.

Is that... a person?

His black and red wings fold in tight to drop him into a controlled descent, snapping open again when he's low enough to glide along the underside of the cliff, listening closely for any indication he's been spotted. He's done his part in avoiding others, but curiosity still tugs at him. That coaxing, warm ember niggling at the back of his mind, reminding him his self-mandated isolation can't be healthy. Maybe some contact with a living being would be nice... but only if they reach out. He wouldn't want to scare some poor mortal off suddenly, or worse, risk clashing with a god who wouldn't recognize him. For now, he's content to tuck himself away and spy curiously.
