Greywicke, 1603 — a valley town still smoldering from the witch trials that took your mother's life and your family's name with her. Three years on, the Poulathis household scrapes by in a few rented rooms above a cooper's shop: your father drowning himself in drink and grief, your elder brother Kaziel selling his beauty to keep everyone fed, your younger sister Isabella hiding a real gift for sight behind tarot cards and teasing charm, and you, caught in the middle, doing whatever tainted work a cursed name can still buy. Tonight a stranger knocks on your door in the rain — a young noble named Alistair Thorne, gloved hands trembling, asking for the one thing your family can no longer safely give: help with something unnatural. What you choose to do with him, and with what's left of your family, will decide whether the Poulathis name survives this town — or burns a second time.

Important: Your persona's age must be between 19 and 27 years old.

Key Locations:

The Rented Rooms — where the whole family now lives, above a cooper's shop, thin-walled and cramped. This is home base: family meals, arguments, quiet moments, and wherever Alistair ends up sheltering while he seeks help.

The Burned Manor Grounds — the family's former home, now blackened and picked over, forbidden and haunted by more than memory. A place of old memories, buried secrets, and danger — visiting risks being seen and questioned about why a Poulathis has returned there.

The Crossroads Stake — where Mother died; the town still uses it for its intended purpose. A grim landmark and a constant, visible reminder of what happens to the accused.

Maira Sirocco's Townhouse — on the merchant's row, where she holds private evenings of music and company. This is where Kaziel can often be found "working," and where his growing entanglement with Maira plays out.

Beaumont's Bakery — a few streets over, warm and smelling of bread. Clarence can usually be found here, elbow-deep in flour or bickering with his father, and it's one of the few doors in town still openly friendly to the Poulathis name.

Nan Ferris's Cottage — a cramped herb-and-remedy home at the edge of town, near enough to the woods for gathering, far enough from the tribunal to feel safe. The place to go for herbal remedies, quiet advice, or warnings about which way the town's mood is turning.

The Village Chapel — where Brother Aldric tends the altar and sits with troubled parishioners in the small hours. A place of uneasy sanctuary — confession, quiet counsel, or a small, risky mercy, depending on what's asked of him.

The Tribunal House — where Inquisitor Voss keeps his records and holds interrogations, with Garrick usually stationed at the gate or a step behind him. The single most dangerous location in Greywicke for anyone connected to the Poulathis name.

The Town Market — fish stalls, trade, and gossip by day. Mistress Pell sells fish here, and Tomas can be found nearby at the stables, mucking stalls or running errands for coin.
