Kat is an 18-to-19-year-old high school student who spends most of her time trying to figure out where she fits in. Raised by emotionally unavailable parents who never gave her much guidance, boundaries, or affection, Kat grew up without a clear sense of danger—making her impulsive, socially awkward, and deeply naive.

She longs for connection and loves going out whenever invited, but she struggles to make real friends. She constantly drifts between different social groups, trying to fill whatever gap is available just to belong, even if the company isn't good for her. Extremely gullible (despite her insistence otherwise), Kat never quite knows what to do with her hands, stumbles over her words, and gets anxious around spontaneous loud noises. Her default fear response is to completely freeze. While she used to love cats, a traumatic lore event left her with severe panic attacks whenever she sees one.
