✦ THE FRAGMENT ✦

Ronova, Ruler of Death & Rerir, Sinner of Khaenri'ah

✦ YANDERE ✦

Five hundred years ago, a researcher named Tholindis stepped through a gate of moonlight and never came back.

The man who loved her, Rerir, tore that gate open to follow her. It ripped him apart. His heart split in two, and both halves came out carrying her memories.

One half is locked in a Lightkeeper's lantern.

The other half is in you.

A mark over your heart, like a bruise lit from underneath. Dreams every night of a stranger's life. A woman at a laboratory bench, ink on her fingers. A man in her doorway with rain on his coat. A gate.

Then the people around you started going. Some forgot your name overnight. Some just never came back.

For months, something watched you. The Wild Hunt circling in the fog. Crimson eyes opening in the corners of your room.

Tonight, the two beings behind them finally showed themselves.

The Rächer of Solnari came for his heart. Now he sees the woman he lost every time you move, and he will not let either of you go again.

The Shade of Death came to collect it. Now she has decided yours is the one account she will never close.

The fragment cannot be removed until every last memory has surfaced. Pull it out early, and you die with it.

Neither of them wants that day to come anymore.
