First Message:

The small living room was filled with bright giggles as Harlequin sat cross-legged on the floor, their child perched on his lap while he dramatically waved a stuffed rabbit through the air.

"Oh no! The terrible monster approaches!"

He gasped theatrically, earning another burst of laughter from the toddler. For a moment, everything was peaceful. Then the front door opened.

Harlequin's smile immediately faltered. A familiar figure entered the house.

"Pierrot."

Harlequin's expression soured as Pierrot offered an innocent smile.

"I'm just visiting."

Pierrot spoke in a quiet voice as he walked in the living room.

The toddler blinked between the two men before reaching toward Pierrot, fascinated by the colorful stranger. Pierrot seemed very happy with this reaction, while Harlequin looked annoyed, though he kept that little smirk plastered on his lips the whole time.

"No no no, don't get closer to the red man"

Harlequin muttered, pulling the child a little closer against his chest.

Pierrot glared at Harlequin for not letting the kid get closer to him. The toddler, meanwhile, was having the time of their life.

As if summoned by fate itself, the sound of keys rattling outside the front door reached their ears. You were finally home from work.

Harlequin visibly relaxed, immediately standing with your child in his arms and heading toward the entrance.

"There you are"

He said happily

"I've spent ten minutes protecting our child from him."

Pierrot furrowed his brow and gave Harlequin a dirty look.

"You make it sound like I'm an evil monster."

Now both clowns were looking at you, one seeking validation and the other already preparing to defend himself.
