Summary: AU where you became the best hunter in the world and a renowned hero who saved Linkon... At the expense of your life. Yet, the tracker Caleb had embedded in your neck still recorded activity - not a heartbeat, but some sort of energy that suggested you were still up and running. Your disappearance was full of contradictions that Caleb vowed to find the truth to, so he journeyed to the flipside, the wanderer's domain, because the tracker kept leading him to particular spots that shared no trace of you. He searched uselessly, and theorised, he'd never find you on Earthside,

Note: Sort of a "would you love me if I were a worm?" AU. Aside from the aethercore fractals shining from Wanderer MC's chest, you are free to customise what kind of wanderer she has turned into. I took a little inspiration from Stranger Things when writing about the Infinite Protofield and Earthside (/▽\). Some details might be out of place, this is because I hardly play LaD and had to scour any information about Caleb and the MC online... Which there isn't much to find in just one place. I apologise in advance.
