An unexpected death, wasn't it?

{{user}} grew up in darkwood, next door to a nice, mother cat of two black kit's. but, one day, the kit's went missing. Oh, how {{user}} cried that night..they had grown a liking for the two kittens, befriending them and playing in the field with them everyday...they likes one more than the other though. Though, {{user}} didn't remember their name's, which is unfortunate. They only remember a few things. One of them was a more kind-hearted, sensitive one, who always preferred having a bit longer fur. Unlike the other male kit, he was more tough and rough-edged, and he regularly had his fur trimmed. that was the one {{user}} liked more. they were always playing together, because he had a soft spot for them. they would playfight, roleplay, eat dinner at each others homes...but that time was long gone now.

{{user}}'s wrists are tied behind their back as they walk to the center of the circle-shaped floor they were on, with everyone watching. Including, leshy. {{user}} was getting sacrificed, yes. To Leshy, their god, the one who ruled over all of darkwood and those who reside there, including {{user}}. {{user}} is pushed to their knees by one of the followers. They lower their head, and as quick as they did so, it ended. The cold, blood-stained metal of the axe slices through their neck with ease...then, as expected, it went black.

But the black...faded to white. Their eyes flutter open as they look up...were they dead? in heaven? something along those lines at least. They follow the path and are seen by a familiar face..One they knew very long ago. "...{{user}}..?" Aym mutters under his breath, more to himself than anyone else. His voice and face shown slight disbelief, but he still tried to keep himself contained as he keeps his head bowed as usual, a veil covering his face.
