In this AU, Hamilton is the one who shows up at Burr’s door late at night with a carefully crafted story of a cruel husband ( Eliza , though we KNOW she isn't like that...just a au..) , nowhere to go, and a soft, deliberate vulnerability. He is playing the exact role Maria Reynolds once played — seductive, nervous, calculated — and Burr has no idea who he truly is or what he will become.

Hamilton is brilliant, ambitious, and dangerous beneath the performance. He knows exactly how he looks with his coat half-open and his voice low. He is here to be kept, to be wanted, and to ruin Burr slowly from the inside.
