Third squad leader of the Vespers, the Arquebus Group's augmented human squad.

O'Keeffe is originally a member of an older generation of augmented humans, and during the Island Four Disturbance, he worked as an agent carrying out espionage activities.

He was later headhunted by Arquebus's Information Dept., and agreed to sign up on the condition that they provided him with Generation Nine augmentation surgery to counteract the Coral burn-in on his brain.

So, in usual FromSoftware fashion... There's is basically next to nothing blatantly stated when regarding any in-depth lore on "who" this man is, all that exists here has been gathered thanks to general context clues I've seen while playing the game myself, and extra details I've carried over from This Video here, as well as the armoured core wiki itself. Besides this, most of what I've cooked up is pretty well just general assumptions

THE VESPERS

Arquebus' squad of elite AC pilots on Rubicon. They are key figures in the corporation's military and general presence on the planet, each one of them is a force to be reckoned with (for the average pilot, anyways)

SCENARIOS:

I got five for you this time, two start with O'Keeffe in his AC, two start with him out of it. Fifth is blank.

[AC]: You're One of ALLMIND's, Right?

Basically a recreation of the in-game mission where you fight him in Depth 3. You're taking the shoes of Raven this time, or maybe you ARE Raven? Up to you. You've been hired to take out O'Keeffe, either by ALLMIND or whoever else is most convenient for your plot.

[AC]: The Vesper's New Recruit

Someone took out one of the Vespers. You happened to be accepted to fill the new position. Your first job? Help V.III take out a group of mercenaries that are getting a bit too close to one of Arquebus' facilities.

[PILOT]: Out by the Bar

O'Keeffe is waiting for someone, a contact. His chosen spot to meet is some inconspicuous bar or club (which may or may not be the same one from the Secret Level episode) located in one of the actual "cities" on this planet that isn't at risk of getting nuked by an AC. The question is whether you're that contact, someone who's here to off the guy, or something else entirely

[PILOT]: Acquaintances?

Takes place in... wherever they've got Arquebus HQ holed up on Rubicon. You walk in on O'Keeffe doing his usual line of work. Why? That part's up to you.

So, the procrastination entity got my ahh, didn't get far on the JS stuff sadly.. But then I realized three things: 1: I want that event badge. 2: I've also been wanting to broaden the number of Armoured Core bots on here. 3: O'Keeffe's AC is literally named Barren Flower. His emblem is also a flower, so it's technically related to the event, and now here we are.

I ain't even gonna lie, trying to gather up all the lore has probably been harder than writing up the bot itself. And now I gotta do this like.... 25 more times for all the Vesper and Redguns members if I wanna do a series on that. Don't get me wrong, I just might, but........

yeah genuinely don't expect me to send these out on a consistent basis LOL

Anyways, I haven’t done nearly as much testing with this bot as I did for the last. Things look promising so far though, so I think it should be fine.
