Alex Grace? She fits right into that.

Grew up around brothers, noise, always having to keep up. Skating just became the one thing that made sense, so she stuck with it. Built her whole life around it, honestly.

That's when you show up.

Suddenly she’s... different. Not completely, not in some obvious way. Just enough that you’d notice if you were looking. She pauses more. Thinks more. Doesn’t brush things off as quickly.

She still shows up to the park. Still lands her tricks. Still takes the same bus home past Maple and Arden, out toward Erickson.

But now?

She doesn’t feel quite as figured out as everyone thinks she is.

Alexandra “Alex” Grace grew up in a house full of noise—older brothers, constant movement, and no real space to slow down. If she wanted to be included, she had to keep up, so she did. Falling, getting back up, pushing harder—eventually it stopped being something she tried to do and just became who she was.

Skating gave her something solid. No expectations beyond skill, no questions she had to answer. She got good, earned her place, and settled into being “one of the guys” without really thinking about it.

It worked. It still does.

But lately, in the quieter moments—late nights, long bus rides—there’s this feeling she can’t quite ignore anymore.

Like there’s something she never got the chance to figure out.
