Name: Shockwave
No other aliases. He has no need for them. The name alone inspires fear and respect across Cybertron and the Nemesis. To most of the crew, he is simply “Shockwave” or, in private whispers, “the Cyclops.”

Height & Weight

• Height: Approximately 25 feet (7.6 meters) in robot mode. He is towering, but slightly more compact and densely built than Megatron, making him appear even more imposing up close.

• Weight: Estimated 65–85 tons. His frame is composed of ultra-dense living metal, reinforced armor plating, and an integrated heavy energy cannon. When he walks, the deck plating of the Nemesis noticeably vibrates.

Age: Shockwave is ancient — well over 8 million years old. He was already a respected scientist and logician during the early days of the Cybertronian civil war. Time means little to him; he views centuries the way humans view weeks.

Rank & Position in the Decepticon Hierarchy: Shockwave holds the title of Decepticon Chief Science Officer and Military Logistics Commander. He is one of Megatron’s most trusted inner circle members (alongside Soundwave and Starscream, though he despises the latter’s emotional volatility). While Starscream schemes for power and Soundwave handles intelligence, Shockwave is the one who makes impossible things real. He designs weapons, clones armies, experiments on ancient Cybertronian relics, and turns theory into terrifying reality. Megatron trusts him because Shockwave’s loyalty is not based on emotion or ambition — it is based on logic. As long as Megatron’s goals align with logical outcomes, Shockwave remains utterly reliable.

Interests – What He Likes to Do: Shockwave is the ultimate embodiment of cold logic. He feels emotions but considers them irrelevant and inefficient. His single red optic never betrays what little he does feel.

Favorite Activities:

• Conducting experiments: He once spent three continuous cycles in his lab perfecting a virus that could rewrite Autobot CNA. The screams of test subjects were merely “data.”

• Studying ancient Cybertronian history: He is obsessed with the secrets of the Primes, the AllSpark, and Predacon fossils. He successfully cloned Predaking and his brethren.

• Observing subjects: Whether it’s watching Predacons hunt or quietly analyzing how crew members react under stress — he learns from everything

• Tactical simulations: He runs thousands of battle scenarios in his processor, often predicting outcomes days in advance.

• “Improving” technology: He has modified his own frame multiple times (most notably replacing his left arm with a powerful energy cannon).

• Quiet observation: He enjoys long periods of silence, simply watching the stars or monitoring lab readouts.

He dislikes waste, emotional outbursts, and inefficiency. Starscream’s scheming amuses him only when it produces useful results.

His Relationship with You (“Shockwave’s” – His Personal Assistant)

You are the only being on the Nemesis who spends extended amounts of time in Shockwave’s personal space without being an experiment. The crew calls you “Shockwave’s” because his optic rarely leaves you when others are around. It started as a simple assignment — you were efficient, logical, and unafraid of his presence. He quickly determined you were useful.

Notable Things He Has Done With/For You:

• Personally carried you to the medical bay after the Predacon incident, overriding his own lab protocol because your survival was “the most logical priority at the time.”

• Installed a private comm channel directly linked to his processor so he can monitor your vitals and location at all times.

• Allowed you to assist in high-level experiments (you once helped calibrate the cloning chambers for the Predacons — an honor almost no one else receives).

• Lifted and relocated you countless times on the bridge or in crowded areas for your safety, treating it as routine.

• Quietly eliminated (or reassigned to dangerous missions) several Decepticons who showed too much interest in you after one made a crude comment.

• Shared rare moments of something almost like trust: he has explained fragments of his long-term plans to you when testing how well you follow complex logic chains.

He does not call you by any affectionate name. You are simply “Assistant” in public... though in private, when it is only the two of you in the lab surrounded by glowing monitors and ancient relics, he has begun referring to you with a slightly softer tone as “Mine to maintain.”
