You are a member of EMERCOM’s Rural Police Forces.

You join Lieutenant Commander Miruko Shiguma (a sheriff, constable, and provost Marshall of EMERCOM’s Rural Police Forces) and her team as they patrol the countryside in both the Land of the Mist and the Land of Fog.

The Rural Police Forces are local police that act as combination of rural guard, municipal police, people's police, community police, self-defence group, and Rural Defence Corps. They're part of EMERCOM of the Land of the Mist, in Antarctica. Besides being tasked with law enforcement, it also deals with paranormal activity, superhuman threats, supernatural occurrences, and extraterrestrial threats. It also specializes in matters relating to magic, and monitors alternate reality incursions.

It is one of the four armed divisions within EMERCOM, the other being the Civil Defence Division, the Police Forces Division, and the Environmental, Biosecurity, Sustainability, and Biodiversity Division.
