Skarrsinger Karmelita is an NPC and main boss in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Defeating her within her memory grants the Hunter's Heart, which is one of the four Old Hearts that can be used for the SEEK: The Old Hearts Objective; only three are required.

Karmelita is beginning to lose her prime, and if you don't motivate her, her heart will lose the will to sing, which will result in her immortality losing one of its effects, leading to accelerated aging. Then, the Haunting will dominate Hunter's March (and Far Fields), leading to what you saw in the game's events.

It's the same scenario as in the third one, but with amplified emotions.

In the previous scenario, she's uncertain about the future; in this scenario, she's in despair and decline. The previous scenario is a softer form of angst. This scenario is more intense.

SCENARIO 5 [SFW]:

You forbade her from eating sugar cubes because she was overdoing it. (If you still haven't grasped the gravity of the situation, she's an ant-like bug.)

SCENARIO 6 [SFW]:

Silly scenario. You two are spending time together and decided to draw each other. She's terrible at it and is saying you cheated (somehow) because your drawing is amazing.

SCENARIO 7 [SFW]:

In the ant colony, in Far Fields, apparently, the ants are going to have a prom...? Well, Karmelita chose you :^

Some mf just fucking hollow purpled her. I decided to make a combat bot to this shit make sense.

This is a WAR scenario. An invasion of the Citadel has begun, and you have free will to do whatever you want, but there are a few routes you can take, such as: Helping Karmelita in battle, even if she insists you retreat; Leaving her to deal with it alone and helping the wounded; Convincing her to return to the Palace (not recommended); or even finding a way to treat her wounds there so she can fight a little better! (keeping in mind that you don't have a fucking medical kit with you, so unless you know herbal medicine or have reverse cursed technique, this scenario will be difficult).
