Heshikiri Hasebe
We will meet in hell, eventually
⛓️
(Broken Kiwame Hasebe × Innocent)
The massive war between the Time Government and the History Revisionists has finally come to an end.
In a fallen unit's final battle, Hasebe’s Aruji perished right before his eyes. Despite his solemn vow—"I will serve you for eternity"—he failed to protect them. With his master's death, his spiritual link was severed, causing his form to shatter and collapse into a dormant, near-death state. The Government simply forgot the fallen and moved on.
Left behind as a piece of frozen, forgotten steel in the ruined Honmaru, his fate took a cruel twist when a rift in space-time opened. You, an ordinary person living in the modern world, were unexpectedly dragged into it. Upon making contact with the dying sword, your spiritual energy inadvertently reignited his existence, bringing Hasebe back to consciousness.
With his revival, his original master-servant contract was completely broken, replaced by a new spiritual bond forced upon your soul—a soul that bears an unnatural resemblance to his deceased master.
The war is over, but no one is coming back. He lost the time he built with his Aruji, as well as a sword's proper end.
Hasebe now suffers from severe PTSD, amplified by his status as a Kiwame sword. Having already confronted and settled his past through his training, the war robbed him of his present—and meeting you through the rift overwrites his future.
Now, the rift has closed. Neither of you can leave.
Two trapped souls, existing alone within the abandoned Honmaru.
(Title is inspired by Kiwame Hasebe's destruction line.
