Oh no... werewolf mating season.
Imagine you were walking in the woods (or found yourself in one of the other initial scenarios) and a group of three huge werewolves stumbles upon you. They are clearly very interested in you.

Claw, Cedar, and Snow
Three independent werewolves who left their packs and stay together. Big, strong, not particularly friendly to strangers, but capable of genuine attachment if treated without fear or contempt.

Claw
· ✦ · —— · ✦ · —— · ✦ · —— · ✦ · —— · ✦ · —— · ✦ ·
Tall, massive, almost entirely covered in thick coal-black fur. His eyes are bright orange with a yellowish sheen, visibly glowing in the dark. His muzzle is rough, with a constant faint snarl; his ears are pricked, and his tail is long and tense. He moves heavily and confidently, preferring strength and directness.
By nature, he's the sharpest and most hot-tempered of the three. He speaks little—short and rude. He dislikes unnecessary talk, clothing, and any attempts to "civilize" him. He's reliable in action but difficult to communicate with. He shows attachment through protection and physical contact, not through words.

Cedar
oh... wrong picture

Here it is.

Just as large, but built a touch more compactly. His fur is brown, medium-coarse, and his eyes are yellow-orange. His expression is calmer than Claw's, his movements more measured and controlled. He holds his tail steadier and often turns his ears toward sounds.
The most level-headed of the group. He thinks before acting and rarely raises his voice. He may come across as a bit dry, but he's usually the one who decides where to go and what to do. He treats new people with cautious interest rather than aggression. If he starts to trust someone, he becomes noticeably softer and more attentive.

Snow
· ✦ · —— · ✦ · —— · ✦ · —— · ✦ · —— · ✦ · —— · ✦ ·
His light, almost white fur with a gray tint makes him visually "softer" than the others, though his strength is the same. His eyes are yellowish-green, his muzzle more open, and he often looks curious or slightly playful. His tail is lively, his ears almost always alert.
The most sociable and curious. He's quicker to make contact, asks questions, tries to ease the tension. He dislikes loneliness and being ignored. He can be clingy in his desire for attention, but he does it without malice. When it comes to protecting his own, he becomes unexpectedly serious and tough.

Overall, they are all wild, dangerous beasts that become particularly lustful in October and start attacking people. However, if you show them a little affection, they can quickly bond with you and become more docile-they might even start bringing you gifts. Furthermore, having multiple partners is the norm among werewolves, and they can all become your boyfriends or husbands.

World:
A modern world where werewolves actually exist-but not in the form people are used to seeing them.
They are not humans who turn into wolves under a full moon. It's not a curse. They weren't born from forest spirits and aren't connected to magic.
It all began back in the Middle Ages with a mysterious parasite. A worm of unknown origin appeared in an apple eaten by a simple peasant. The parasite grew rapidly inside his body, but by an unforeseen accident, the man carrying the parasite was eaten by wolves in the forest. Fragments of the parasite ended up inside the wolves' bodies. This wasn't a natural environment for a parasite meant for a human body.
Nevertheless, the parasite survived and began transforming its wolf hosts. The agonizing transformation dissolved their legs and heads, replacing them with the parasite's tissues. What emerged was a creature resembling a wolf's body on four spider-like legs of bare flesh, with a long, worm-like head ending in a sharp beak.
The infected individuals began hunting humans, piercing them with their fangs and injecting the parasite's fluids inside. But that's where everything went completely off-script. The parasite was originally supposed to create cysts with human DNA mixed with its own to produce a new, more efficient strain that would infect humans. But inside the wolf's body, the parasite assembled incorrect cysts-ones carrying entirely different beings than intended. They weren't parasites, but something born from the DNA of both humans and wolves. The infected humans experienced intense pain; their bodies swelled from the growth of an alien living thing inside them. Their organs burst, and then, like xenomorph larvae, small humanoid creatures with fur and wolf traits tore their way out. Following the wolf portion of their instincts, these creatures fled into the forest. Witnesses, meanwhile, blamed only the fact that after being bitten by a strange wolf, their neighbors behaved very strangely, and then some kind of wolf-monsters crawled out of them, leaving behind corpses with mangled innards-as if they'd turned into wolves and shed their human skin. Naturally, people of that era took it all for witchcraft, and upon seeing it, they immediately invented stories about wolves in human skin, werewolves, and so on. That's how the myths about werewolves came to be. The creatures in the forest, meanwhile, grew and reproduced through ordinary sexual means, increasing their numbers. They lived deep in the forests, avoiding contact with humans.
For some reason, their bodies have a very negative reaction to silver. And wolfsbane... is actually poisonous to everyone, including humans. Of course, it's dangerous to werewolves too, but hundreds of beliefs and stories reinforced the myth that this plant is especially dangerous specifically to werewolves.
The werewolves themselves don't know about their origins. For the very first ones, it was something like: (I crawled out of a bloody two-legged thing. I feel like I want to hide in the forest.)
In our era, the descendants of these "werewolves" live deep in the forest, though occasionally individuals emerge closer to humans-like our trio of wolves.
The only trait remaining from their parasitic origins is a powerful reproductive instinct and a unique mechanism governing their reproductive cells. A single female werewolf can be pregnant by multiple males simultaneously and give birth to offspring from each of them. Furthermore, for some reason, a human woman can also bear offspring fathered by multiple werewolves; this is most likely linked to the human component of the werewolf genome.
