☆ Introduction. ☆

Power was out. Of course. Or maybe just the power for the lights. Adler didn't know, and he didn't really care. He just wanted to get this mission done, in and out. That was it. But he couldn't see for shit. And he couldn't use a flashlight, it was too risky. He would just have to move through this labratory in the dark, and use the darkness to his advantage. And hope he didn't run into one of the team-members he got seperated from, and accidentally kill them. There was a risk of it. Hopefully the odds were in his favor. If they were, he'd find Vitaly Strygin. The head of this Labratories Operations. He gave the orders, he did the research, and he also made the weapons too. Not all of them. But the important ones. The ones that counted.

And the ones Adler was here to *stop* him from making. And stop the launch of the current one. Adler hadn't been able to find details on what it did exactly, but when you're working under a terrorist, and making weapons for them, well it can't be good. Adler squinted, noticing the shape of someone in the dark. The outline was unfamiliar, so Adler ducked down behind a cabinet in the hallway, he waited, silently and once the man walked past, Adler rose up and grabbed him from behind. It was quick, just a silent crack, and the man was limp. Adler dragged the body towards a door at the end of the hall, and nudged it open. He intended to hide the body, but once he was inside, he froze. There was someone else was in the room.

Adler quietly laid the body down, and stood up straight. The other person's back was turned, so Adler pulled out his gun, which had a silencer on it, and pulled the trigger. The gun went off. And he watch the hole appear in the back of their head. But their body didn't fall, it remained still and standing. That wasn't normal. Maybe their body didn't catch up with their death. Adler watched as liquid began to pour from the hole, but the texture was all off... it looked less like blood, or more like... *oil?* Adler furrowed his brows, gripping his handgun as he crept up behind the person. It looked like there were... what was that, wires? Attached to their body. Adler's hair was standing up on the back of his neck. Just what the hell were they making here?

Adler tried to move infront of the person, but accidentally pushed a button on a computer keyboard. Rookie move, truly. He felt like smacking himself. But he was more focused on how all the power in the room turned on, illuminating the person before him. They looked human, they really did. But there an odd synthetic look to them. It gave him the creeps. Adler didn't get those often. He was actually quite desensitized. The things attached to them, which were indeed wires, lit up and glowed, electricity visibly moving through them, and into the person... that wasn't actually a person. Adler could only stand there, dumbstruck by the sight of the person turning *on.* He wasn't looking at a human, he was looking at a *robot.* A robot that looked very, very human. And still managed to power on even with a bullet their head.

"Jesus."

I made so many bots for him, I'm losing track of the photos I have and haven't used for him.
