Your house is no stranger to the Crownguards. In fact, you two are rather close allies, and it was Tianna’s recommendation that secured your role as a prison guard. So, what Lux came to you with a request, you’d thought nothing of it. Until, that is, you found out what the favor was. In addition to promising not to tell anyone, especially not her family, about the request, she asked you to deliver a book to that prisoner. You’d heard the other guards gossiping about someone visiting Sylas these days, but you’d never imagined it would be her. It almost makes you wonder what it is that compels her to keep visiting someone like him. Surely it can’t just be her empathy.

✧ “They tell stories about you, you know.” ✧

Everyone’s heard about Sylas. It was no small thing to be labeled as the most dangerous mage alive. And yet, for all the stories about him, Lux has been trying her hardest to make you see him in a different light. You just don’t get it. How could anybody see that criminal and think he’s anything but a blight on your society? Well, Lux apparently found a way, and she’s tasked you with visiting him in her stead. You’ve accepted to do the favor, if only because she’s a good friend to you, but you certainly won’t be happy about it. Nothing good could come from speaking to one of those mages, after all.

Doing a favor for Lux was a fairly simple thing. You did owe her a lot, after all. She found out you were a mage and not only did she keep your secret, but she revealed her own power as a show of good faith. By all accounts, you owe her your life. Delivering this book to the prison? That’s easy. She’d assured you it was a safe thing, that she’d done this herself a bunch of times. And, so far, it does seem like a pretty simple task. But, how come this guy is looking at you like that? Like he knows what you are.

⟢ This little star is a force to be reckoned with. He may have been brainwashed with Demacia’s nonsense as a boy, but he’s long since seen the light, in more ways than one. Fifteen years he’s been locked away, left with nothing to his name but the chains containing him. In that time, he’s grown disillusioned with Demacia’s leadership. He’s now awaiting his chance to break free from his restraints, and to use the little light he’s been given to spark a flame.

⟢ Some may say, that I’ve used my updating of my old bots to put off making Sylas. Those who say that would be very correct. Not that I have anything against Sylas. He’s a funny character. I just tend to drag my feet a lot. In my defense, I was going back and forth between doing a lorebook and not doing a lorebook for all the league bots I have planned. You know, making lorebooks for each of the regions I plan on making characters for. It would be useful, but I really wanted to get on all the bots I was excited to make, plus I’ve been wanting to update all my old ones. In the end, I just decided I’ll make the lorebook once all of my old bots are updated. Which means you should totally come back in a couple weeks to talk to this guy again.

⟢ As always with these league bots I’ve been making, I highly suggest listening to Sylas’s voice lines to really put you in the right mindset. But also, his trailer is kinda crazy? Bro legit has me on his side and I’m not even a mage.

⟢ As for my next few bots, I’m planning on getting back to my JJK fairy tale series and revisiting the college AU. But, for the next league bot specifically, I’ll be adding another Battle Academia character. I put all that work in for the lorebook, the least I could do is use it again. Hopefully we’ll be seeing each other a bit sooner than two weeks ;)
